First, make sure you're a DCMF member! 

Once you are a member, you will receive an email with details on how to book an orientation session. We need to know who is using our space. An orientation allows us to meet you in person and walk you through how to use our facilities safely and securely

Orientations only take about 15 minutes and can be arranged anytime during regular office hours.

After you've attended an orientation session, you'll be invited to create an account that will allow you to book our space online. You'll need to provide us with your name and email to complete this process.

Once your account is set up you can book rehearsal space here.

Choose the date and time, pay via credit card, and you're all set! You'll receive a booking confirmation email with instructions on how to access the building during your session.

Visit dcmf.tickit.ca ! Your $10 annual membership provides you with voting rights at our Annual General Meeting and the opportunity to book space and rent gear. Not sure if you’re already a member? Email [email protected] and we can check for you.

You'll notice that when you try to checkout, you are required to sign in. In order to create an account you must have a DCMF membership and complete an orientation session. At your orientation session you will be sent an account creation invite. If you've purchased a DCMF membership and haven't completed an orientation session, you can book one by emailing [email protected]

To ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment for all users, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Shoes: Please remove your shoes and boots as you enter the Lounge 

Food & Drinks: No food or drinks are permitted in the Control Room. No food is permitted in the Live Room. Please eat in the Lounge. 

Rehearsal Kit: After using the rehearsal kit, return all cables, microphones, and DIs to the rehearsal box and store stands in their designated areas.

Equipment Shut-Off: Turn off the PA system, lights, computers, and any equipment used during your session before leaving.

Room Configuration: If you change the room’s configuration to suit your needs, please restore it to its default setup before leaving.

Securing the Space: Ensure all doors are locked when you finish your session.

Cleaning Up: Leave time at the end of your booking to clean the space in case another group follows yours.

No Pets: Please leave your furry friends at home.

DCMF values freedom of expression, creativity, and spirited celebration, but not at the expense of others' right to feel safe and free from harm. No one should be made to feel uncomfortable or unsafe by your actions or words. DCMF maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of harassment or abuse and any person participating in harmful behaviour may have their access to DCMF services and facilities restricted or removed.  

Everyone who uses the studio must attend an orientation session so that they are able to use the space self-sufficiently. A Studio Technician is not available by default for space bookings.
